My mug workshop is a super fun way to get your hands dirty and your creative juices flowing! Using the pinch pot technique I will walk you through the process of making your very own ceramic mug with a coil handle. Students will paint their own surface designs using a variety of under glazes. They will choose their interior glaze color and I will take the mugs back to my studio to fire and glaze them. This finishing process will take about 3 weeks. The mugs will be fully functional and can go in the microwave and dishwasher. You'll have the satisfaction of drinking out of a mug you made!
