Double Pelican Dish

Handmade thrown ceramic dish with Sgraffito Pelican design with dot motif.

Inspired by the many pelicans we encountered on our travels - from Florida, to Puerto Rico, to Baja and everywhere in between. Often the first birds seen at sunrise and the last at sunset; their presence was a constant. Watching the unassuming birds dive (sometimes) gracefully for fish became a favorite pastime. These two were drawn from a photo captured at sunset in Bahía de los Ángeles, Baja.

A shallow dish great for pasta, salad, or as a decorative addition to your wall. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
